These terms explain how MechaLogics accepts and delivers individually quoted technical services. A free sample or an inquiry does not create a paid order.
01 · Provider and scope
MechaLogics provides technical document translation, technical document analysis, mechanical and electrical drawing review, and mechanism video analysis through designoslab.com. Contact: contact@designoslab.com. These terms apply to inquiries and orders accepted on or after the effective date.
02 · One-time free analysis sample
A new customer may request one free one-page analysis summary based on one representative excerpt and one engineering question. We first check whether the material is readable and suitable for this limited review. The sample does not include a complete translation, a full report or a complete drawing or video analysis. Any full project requires a separate quotation and your agreement. There is no automatic paid conversion or recurring charge.
03 · Quotation and order confirmation
Website prices are starting rates or stated pricing units, not a final price for an unreviewed project. Before payment, the written quotation or order confirmation specifies the source set, scope, languages, deliverables, final amount, currency, applicable taxes and charges, delivery schedule, included revisions and payment conditions. A paid order is formed when you and MechaLogics expressly agree to these details in writing, including by email. An inquiry alone is not acceptance of a paid order.
04 · Payment and commencement
Use only the payment method and instructions confirmed for your order. Work begins after written acceptance and receipt of the payment required by the quotation, unless another arrangement is expressly agreed. We do not begin chargeable work merely because you submitted a file. Any later increase in scope or price requires your agreement before the additional work begins.
05 · Delivery and schedule
Deliverables are normally supplied electronically as the PDF or other agreed files, by email or an access-controlled link. The quotation defines the delivery date or period and the point from which it runs. We will notify you if missing material, changed requirements or another issue affects delivery and discuss a revised schedule. Silence after delivery is not automatic approval or a waiver of your rights.
06 · Corrections and additional work
Please identify the page, drawing reference or timestamp when requesting a correction. Reporting issues within 14 days helps us review them promptly; this is not a limit on statutory rights. We correct a failure to meet the agreed scope without an additional fee. New source versions, additional languages or questions, and other scope changes are quoted separately and require your approval.
07 · Submitted material and confidentiality
Submit only material you are authorised to share and remove unnecessary personal information. Agree special handling requirements before sending complete confidential material. Rights in your source material remain with their existing owners. You may use the commissioned deliverable for the purpose agreed in the order, subject to third-party rights. MechaLogics will not publish your material or use it as a public sample or portfolio item without your prior permission. See Information Security and the Privacy Policy for handling details.
08 · Intended use and engineering limits
Findings distinguish source evidence, engineering inference and unresolved issues. The service does not constitute a statutory inspection, certification or a guarantee that equipment is safe or suitable for manufacture. Implementation, operation and safety decisions require verification appropriate to the intended use. These limits do not remove our responsibility to provide the agreed service with reasonable care.
09 · Cancellation and refunds
The Cancellation & Refunds policy forms part of these terms. A written project agreement may provide more favourable conditions, but it cannot remove rights that applicable law makes mandatory. No blanket rule that all custom work is non-refundable applies.
10 · Questions, applicable law and changes
Send order questions or complaints to contact@designoslab.com with your quotation or order reference. We first seek a practical resolution by discussion. Korean law governs the service, subject to any mandatory consumer protections applicable to you; jurisdiction follows applicable law. Updated terms are published with a new effective date. Changes do not retroactively alter an accepted order without agreement or a legal requirement.
